Featured Artist of the Month: July 2019

Meghan Patrick

Our Featured Signed Artist for the month of July, is Meghan Patrick!

The first time we had the pleasure of seeing Meghan perform, was in London, Ontario at CMAO's. She is originally from Bowmanville, Ontario and was classically trained in jazz and opera at McGill University. She went on to sign a recording contract with Warner Music Canada and a publishing deal with Ole Nashville/Anthem Entertainment Group . Her family’s love and support, means everything to Meghan. We even got to see her sister & niece, at the CMAO 2019 Awards - her niece is such a cutie ! She stole the show on the red carpet !

In addition to her two year reign as the Canadian Country Music Association Female Artist of the Year, Meghan has been nominated for 8 CCMA awards including Album of the Year nominations for both of her studio albums. She recently received Juno Award nominations for Country Album of the Year and Breakthrough Artist.

Meghan also recently made history by becoming the first solo female artist to take home the Fans’ Choice Award at the Country Music Association of Ontario! Along with Female Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Album of the Year, Music Video of the Year. A total of five CMAO Awards for 2019 ! Meghan has a lot to be proud of - her debut album, Grace and Grit, generated four Top 20 singles & a Top 10 hit with "Still Loving You". Then her sophomore album Country Music Made Me Do It in 2018, to great fanfare. The first single from the album, also titled “Country Music Made Me Do It” reached the Top 5, while the most recent single “Wall Come Down” rocketed to the #1 spot on the country radio charts and “The Bad Guy” was a Top 15 hit. Her latest release was inspired by her own life called "Wild As Me" and she even co-wrote the song! Not only does her musical talent inspire, but we have to admit, she's got a talent for finding spectacular boots ~ loved the white ones at the CMAO Awards in Ottawa !

In concert, she’s shared the stage with superstars like Lady Antebellum, Dwight Yoakam, Kip Moore and Martina McBride, as well as performing a duet with Keith Urban at the Timmins Stars & Thunder Festival. We hope she knows how proud we are, of all that she has accomplished in the country music industry and that she’s one of our very own 🇨🇦 !
